Certified Organic

Multi-Farm CSA

(Community Supported Agriculture)

Our farm was established in 2016. While we continue to prepare our farm for harvest, our certified organic produce, fruit, diary and meat come from local distributors.

We provide certified organic food all year.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way to buy local organic food directly from a farmer. You purchase a “subscription” and become a farm “member.” The farm delivers a tote of produce weekly throughout the growing seasons. You choose the pick-up location from a list of options available in Sarasota, Manatee and Pinellas counties.

What is a Member?

A person becomes a CSA Member by paying a seasonal fee (payment plans available), which entitles them to a share of weekly produce.  The farm is also open to non-members.  While non-members are not entitled to a weekly share, they are encouraged to enjoy our volunteer opportunities, special events and farm tours.

CSA Benefits

CSA Membership affords access to the freshest possible organic produce, while supporting local, sustainable, healthy agriculture.  Since we are an educational farm, your membership will help support education through our volunteer and field trip programs, and workshops throughout Sarasota, Manatee and Pinellas counties.  It's a simple enough idea, but its impact has been profound.

Advantages for farmers:

  • Get to spend time marketing the food early in the year, before their 16 hour days in the field begin

  • Receive payment early in the season, which helps with the farm's cash flow

  • Have an opportunity to get to know the people who eat the food they grow

Advantages for consumers:

  • Eat fresh organic food, with all the flavor and vitamin benefits

  • Get exposed to new vegetables and new ways of cooking

  • Usually get to visit the farm at least once a season

  • Find that kids typically favor food from "their" farm - even veggies they've never been known to eat

  • Develop a relationship with the farmer who grows the food and learn more about how food is grown

Become a Member

A membership application must be completed first. Next, pay for a Full or Half membership.  Applications for the November through May Season are accepted beginning in March (for renewing Members) and April (for new Members).  We accept applications until we have sold the total number of shares we will have available for the Season.  Members pay for their seasonal share before the Season begins or may opt for a Payment Plan.   Members pick up their organic produce each week or every other week at a designated location in Sarasota, Manatee or Pinellas county.
